This 1978 Jeep CJ-7 is a beautifully restored suv that has under 700 miles on it since being restored. This Jeep had only 68,777 miles on it when it was restored. We have the original odometer verifying this. This was a solid southern Jeep that was brought to Michigan and restored in 2020. Unfortunately the person became ill and was unable to drive it on a regular basis so we purchased the Jeep. The body on this CJ is excellent! It is super clean and straight. When it was restored it was professionally painted Red. Everything was taken apart when it was painted and the paint still looks awesome. It also has a brand new Best Top soft top with half doors just installed but no hard top. There is some custom pinstriping that was added, but it could be removed pretty easily if you wanted to. The undersided is crisp and clean and there are no rust issues with this Jeep.

The interior is also in excellent condition and was also restored. Everything is new: The carpet, seat upholstery, dash, gauges...it is all new. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The heater works and the windshield wipers work. The horn is inop at this time.

mechanically this Jeep is excellent and it runs and drives wonderful. The engine is the original 4.2L 258 Inline 6 that was resealed and the head was resurfaced with new valve job. It did not need a full rebuild because of the low miles. It has an upgraded carb, HEI distributor, new fuel pump, new alternator, new radiator, and new belts and hoses. Full Tuneup. The transmission was upgraded to a T5 5 Speed Manual that shifts great with a strong clutch. It is mated to the Dana 20 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. It has the AMC 20 rear axle with 3.54 gears and a Dana 30 front axle with 3.54 gears. This Jeep has power steering and power front disc brakes. It had a 2 Inch all spring lift installed with new shocks when restored as well. This is all sitting on new wheels with General Grabber tires.
