ALL STEEL RUST FREE 1985 JEEP CJ7 FROM CALIFORNIA! FUEL INJECTED!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1985 Jeep CJ-7 is a super clean, all steel, rust free Jeep that spent its life in California. It was frame on restored around 5 years ago and it was built to be a dependable driver that you could take off road if you chose to. This jeep was used only as a weekend cruiser and was never taken off road since it was restored. It has less than 6,000 miles on it since being restored. The body on this Jeep is all steel and super clean. It was professionally repainted when restored in its original color of Sebring Red and the paint still looks excellent. It has the factory hard top and door that are still in great condition. It has a HD aftermarket front bumper that is set up for the included tow bar. It also has a Warn 9500 Pd winch. The rear bumper is also a HD with spare tire carrier, jerry can holder, and hi-lift with mount. This is a really cool setup. The underside is extremely clean and solid with no rust issues.

The interior is also in excellent condition. The seats are original but have been reupholstered along with the door panels. It received new carpet, new dash pad, new switches, gauges, etc. It has a nice aftermarket locking center console with built in stereo. It has a Full Roll Cage and tilt steering. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals all work. The gauges all work, that includes the Tach and clock.. The horn, heat, and windshield wipers work.

Mechanically this Jeep is top notch! It runs and drives excellent even with the lift. The engine is the 4.2L (258) Inline 6 that runs strong. The engine was rebuilt according to the last owner, but we did not receive the receipts. We see nothing to dispute this. It has Howell Fuel INjection for easy starting and smooth running. They added aluminum valve cover to the engine and also an aluminum radiator for added cooling. The transmission is the t5 5 Speed Manual that shifts nice. It is mated to the Dana 300 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is the AMC 20 with 4.10 gears and a limited slip. The front axle is the Dana 30 with 4.10 gears. This Jeep has a professionally installed spring over axle lift and give this Jeep an excellent ride while offering great flex if you chose to go off road. They also did a shackle reversal when doing the lift. They installed a new power steering box and steering shaft when restored so everything is tight. It also has power front disc brakes. This is all sitting on a nice set of Mickey Thompson Rims with 35 Inch Mickey Thompson MT2 tires. This is a really cool rig for someone.
